Depending on type and extraction, it can be powdery, creamy, green, medicinal, sweet, or floral.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"411\" data-end=\"710\"\u003eMy journey with Narjis began with two vintage oils: one from the Sultanate of Oman, traced back through a trusted chain to a Palace staff member; the other from a 3rd-generation Indian distiller’s reserve. One leaned oudy, the other softly musky. Both were treasures that felt like dream material.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"712\" data-end=\"963\"\u003eMy first Narjis creation, \u003cem data-start=\"738\" data-end=\"755\"\u003eNectar Poeticus\u003c\/em\u003e, allowed Narjis to hover gracefully in a supporting role beside Osmanthus and animalic notes. Later, a 30-year-old Narjis—again with Palace lineage—found its way to me. Heavenly musky, it demanded center stage.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"965\" data-end=\"1398\"\u003eTo approach it with fresh eyes, I invited my olfactory companion Tauhid into the process. Together, we experimented, refined, and finally gave life to this blend: an unapologetic dose of vintage Narjis (from the\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"965\" data-end=\"1398\"\u003e\u003cem data-start=\"2258\" data-end=\"2273\"\u003eSecret Garden\u003c\/em\u003e Set), paired with Kashmiri musk, spices, and citrus. Osmanthus and Jasmine macerating in Cambodian, Vietnamese, and Burmese ouds form the base, aged for months. A touch of Sultani Shamama sealed the composition with vintage character.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"1400\" data-end=\"1590\"\u003eThe result? A musky, powdery, floral perfume where vintage Narjis shines as the star. I know, this is the reverse of how things usually go, but I was confident he’d be on board. And sure enough, he was!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-end=\"261\" data-start=\"92\"\u003eHere's what Anas wrote about it:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-end=\"261\" data-start=\"92\"\u003e\u003cem\u003e\"Nectar Myanmar is a tribute to the lush, untamed beauty of Southeast Asia — a rare attar composed of florals, aged animalic notes, and some of the most exquisite ouds ever distilled. \u2029The journey begins with a golden duet of osmanthus and honeysuckle, sweet and sunlit, their nectarous glow drawing you in like the soft breath of dawn. Then, a lavish floral heart unfurls — red rose oil as deep and velvety as crushed silk, entwined with the narcotic intensity of jasmine, suspended in a smoky embrace of vintage civet and vintage musk, aged to perfection. \u2029As the attar warms on the skin, its soul reveals itself: a trinity of precious oils. Pursat Zen Oud from 2014 (AlHind Oud), aged and enigmatic, anchors the scent with resinous gravity.
