Lovely cocoa ambergris pastry with sour cherry and blood orange.

One of my best blind purchases of the year, the extrait is proving to be one of my favorite scents.

I was in the post office wearing the Ambergris Cacao, it was pretty busy in there. As the scent wove its way through the storefront, it was like a spell was cast over all the customers. A sense of quiet fell over everyone, and they started to subconsciously move very slowly towards my direction. It was both fascinating and mildly spooky 👻 Even the employees behind the counters seem to always be in a good mood when I wear this. The effect of good fragrance is amazing!

Begins with a Powder cherry opening and then dries down to an addicting cacao and oud scent. I’m mad at myself for not getting a bigger bottle. Also, it’s definitely wearable year round. Long lasting for an EDT.

Right at the initial spray you get this sour cherry smell that lingers for the first minutes. As the time goes on the cherry starts to get replaced by this funky ambergris and oud smell. I expected the cocoa to be more prominent but its like a sleeping bear, just waiting to be released.

Finally the beautiful sweet cocoa comes out and makes this fragrance a beautiful blend. You get this rich fizzy feeling to everything with the sweetness backing it up. The oud is perfect here I feel this is a safe blind buy and entrypoint to the house of elkhaldi.
