This is my first collaboration project. I had sent the Ambergris Spectrum base to Faizal and asked him to take it places.

I have been sourcing many of my oils through Faizal. Earlier on, he had shared some of his early attar blends prior to releasing his brand--which came after the well respected and known Imperial Oud that he'd been a part of.

We talked about the blend, the notes, and I had the pleasure to try iterations of it. When it came time to name it, I suggested something along the lines of "Chic." To me, Faizal’s oils have always carried an elegance, a sense of majesty. They're chic.
