Upon the first spray, you immediately notice the very dense, oily spritz. The oil content seems so high here that even the bottle’s contents let no light through. This is also noticeable on clothing—so caution is advised.

The scent opens with a very delicious, sweet, moist tobacco note. As a cigar enthusiast, I can only enjoy this. The fragrance breathes and projects well; I personally don’t detect the fig, but I get a hint of licorice, and the linden tree accompanies the scent fantastically. As with Cacao, the ambergris note appears later with its saltiness, beautifully rounding off the sweet fragrance.

I personally don’t pick up on the mentioned oud varieties, but the tobacco comes through, and that’s what I find so successful about this fragrance. Superb.
