This is intense. I set out to create a perfume version of Civet Royale Absolute with one challenge in mind: to amplify the essence of a natural vintage animalic and surreal civet.
Extending such a profile into a perfume demanded both experimentation and intuition. At times it felt like working within a black box—uncertain yet evolving in a way that aligned with the vision of this challenge.
When I compare both scents they truly feel like twins—one as the absolute the other its perfume embodiment.
One strength alone couldn’t do this blend justice—so I’m offering two concentrations: Parfum for an assertive noticeable yet reserved presence; and Eau de Parfum for a bright louder more diffusive expression.
I reserved some of Civet Royale tincturing and aging for another last round which will be dubbed Civet Finalé. But that will not be released for a few months. Until then I hope you'll enjoy this spray-perfume interpretation of Civet Royale!
